Based in the country's capital of Baku, Azal Azerbaijan Airlines is the national carrier of Azerbaijan. With a small fleet of 32 planes, Azal serves 53 destinations worldwide, with a large amount of full-service flights traveling to post-Soviet countries, in addition to regular routes to Europe and the Americas. Azal has partnerships with prominent air carriers across the world, such as Air France, Alitalia, Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines, and Qatar Airlines.
