Operating as a low-cost of subsidiary Qantas, Jetstar is a budget Australian airline with extensive domestic service. While a majority of the airline's 35 destinations are within their home country of Australia, their fleet of 70 planes make frequent trips to international destinations throughout Asia, and the Pacific. Through talks with China Eastern Airline, parent company Qantas has spun off an Asian variant of Jetstar to enhance service throughout key demographics in that area.
