About Virgin Australia

A hybrid of traditional low-cost and full-service carriers, Virgin Australia is the largest of the Virgin Group's airlines, as well as Australia's second-largest carrier. With an impressive fleet of 110 planes, Virgin Australia offers a wide range of domestic service in Australia, regional trips to destinations throughout Oceania, and an additional flight to Los Angeles, for a total of 50 destinations in total. In contrast to fellow Virgin Group carriers, Virgin Australia is a member of the Etihad Airways Partners, though the airline still operates flights in conjunction with their affiliate Virgin brands, and code-share agreements with Air Berlin, Delta, Singapore, Air New Zealand, and several other carriers.
